ストーリー／ STORY

東京近県のとある静かな町。家出計画を実行した内田真由ら高校生男女５人が深夜のバス乗り場に到着した。義父からDVを受けていた真由は、東京に住む叔父・一輝を訪ねるつもりだった。
しかし、東京行きの最終バスに駆け込もうとした瞬間、一人の薄気味悪い老婆に行く手を阻まれ、真由たちは人気のない暗い道の中、徒歩での峠越えを余儀なくされた。
一方、人を襲う巨大な顔面の怪物・ヨシエの正体を探るフリー記者・内田一輝は、先輩記者の協力を得て、行き詰っていたヨシエの調査に僅かな希望の光を見出していた。
そこへ内田の携帯に１本の電話が入る。姪の真由が家出をし、行方不明だという。
直前まで真由と一緒にいた友人とともに足取りを追う内田。東京方面に捜索範囲を広げる中、山道付近でちぎれた腕や懐中電灯、そして真由の携帯電話を見つけた内田は、携帯に残された画像を見て愕然とした。車の中で撮られた真由の写真のようだが、車の背後に写るアイツの顔が目に飛び込んできた。それは、紛れもなくヨシエの姿だった。
再びヨシエのデスマーチが内田の脳裏に響き始める。これはヨシエが近くに出現する危険信号。まさか、真由たちを追って、この大都会東京にヨシエが現れるというのか・・・。

In the rural town near Tokyo, Mayu Uchida and her other 4 friends turn runaway boys and girls, and tonight they are about to board the bus bound for Tokyo. Mayu, who has been a victim of domestic violence from her mother’s boyfriend, has planned to visit her uncle, Kazuki in Tokyo.
However, when they are about to reach the bus terminal, they come across with a creepy old woman at a crossroad. Having missed that last bus, they are forced to take a long walk over the mountain in order to reach their destination.
On the other hand, Kazuki Uchida, a freelance journalist, has been on the time-consuming hunt for Yoshie the huge-head ghost’s identity. Gaining his mentor Hatayama’s support, Kazuki obtains new information about Yoshie. It is then he receives a phone call from his sister, urging him to help her find Mayu who has disappeared from home.
Kazuki comes to find a friend of Mayu’s who gets separated from Mayu by accident on their way out of the town, and with her help, he searches for Mayu. He expands the extent to which he seeks Mayu, but, he stumbles upon a ripped arm in blood, and a flashlight on the ground, and then Mayu’s cellphone by the street. Kazuki is then shocked to find a photo taken by her cell phone, a photo in which Mayu is taken captive inside a car and Yoshie is just outside looking in.
All over again, Kazuki realizes the deadly hunt is about to begin. Is Yoshie really following Mayu into metropolitan Tokyo?
